Driving at the speed of stupid in Colborne, ON - Colborne man clocked at 133kph in 40 zone while impaired

ONTARIO - Around 9 p.m. June 30, a Northumberland OPP officer was conducting radar on Presqu’ile Parkway in Brighton when he spotted a motorcyclist travelling southbound at high speed. A reading of 133 km/hr in a 40 km/hr zone was recorded.

The motorcyclist was stopped and while the officer spoke to the man he noticed an odour of an alcohol on the suspect's breath. As a result of the investigation, the driver was given a roadside test and was escorted to the Brighton detachment for an intoxilizer test.

A 64-year-old Colborne man is charged with having more than 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 mls of blood and racing under section 172(1) of the Highway Traffic Act. The motorcycle was impounded.

He is scheduled to appear in a Brighton courtroom on Aug. 4.

Driving at the speed of stupid doesn't even come close to describing this persons actions!!
Drinking and driving and at 133k in a 40 zone?? Darwin could of intervened on this one for sure.
Hey Jim Kenzie...where does this one stand in your world? Unjust, unfair, someone should of highbeamed him to warn him?? Thank goodness the police got him before he kiled himself or someone else.
