ONTARIO - A 34-year-old Bowmanville man suffered serious injuries as a result of a single-vehicle crash on Baseline Road early Wednesday morning.
Durham Regional Police say a green GMC Sierra pickup truck was travelling east on Baseline Road, east of Holt Road, when it left the road and struck a concrete culvert.
The driver had to be extricated from the vehicle, and was taken first to hospital in Bowmanville, then air-lifted to St. Michael's hospital in Toronto, with serious injuries.
