Ontario - A Belleville man has been arrested for speeding, driving unlicensed, (and uninsured to boot), impaired, dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.

Belleville police clocked a driver at 120 kilometres an hour on rain-slick North Front Street with a posted speed limit of 50 kph at 2:30 this morning. The male driver failed to pull over after the officer activated his lights and siren.

The officer followed the driver until he stopped in the driveway of a residence on Wallbridge Crescent.

The officer arrested the 30-year-old man. The unidentified man has been charged with impaired driving, driving with more than the legal amount of alcohol in his blood, dangerous driving and flight from police all under the Criminal Code and faces offences under the Highway Traffic Act.
