NOVA SCOTIA - A 59-year-old Amherst woman who was injured in a vehicle-pedestrian collision this week has died from her injuries.
The unidentified women was struck at the intersection of East Pleasant and Albion streets on Monday.
She was airlifted to hospital in Halifax but died Tuesday.
Amherst police are continuing their investigation.

Amherst pedestrian critically injured
NOVA SCOTIA - A pedestrian in Amherst was airlifted to a hospital in Halifax on Monday after she was struck by a vehicle.
The woman was walking near the intersection of Pleasant and Albion streets when she was hit at about 8:30 a.m., said a spokesman for Nova Scotia's ambulance service.
Paul Maynard, with Emergency Health Services, said the woman was initially rushed to the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre with critical head injuries.
No other details were available.
