Court: 30-day adjournment for Euart McEwan in July triple-fatality

ALBERTA - A Leduc County man charged with three counts of impaired driving causing death in connection with a July accident that killed a British Columbia couple and a Camrose woman on Highway 2A near Leduc made his first appearance in court Nov. 19.

Euart McEwan did not appear personally; McEwan's defence lawyer requested a one-month adjournment to allow him to review the disclosure on the case.

McEwan will appear again Dec. 17.

A trial date is expected to be set on that day.
