Court: Trial date set in fatal collision death of Kenneth Delaet

ONTARIO -
A driver charged in a Sept. 11, 2009 fatal collision will stand trial Dec. 15.

Lee Browning, 33, of Chatham, had a brief court appearance Friday and the trial date was set.

According to previously published reports, the crash happened at the intersection of Dillon Road and Tenth Line.

It involved a sewage vacuum truck, driven by the accused, and a pickup truck. Kenneth Delaet, 28, of Merlin, died from his injuries, leaving behind a wife and young child.

Browning is charged with dangerous driving causing death.

His next court appearance is March 1.

ONTARIO -
A driver charged in a Sept. 11 fatal collision has an upcoming court date.

The crash involved a sewage vacuum truck, driven by the accused, and a pickup truck at the intersection of Dillon Road and Tenth Line.

On Sept. 23, Kenneth Delaet, 28, of Merlin, died from his injuries leaving behind a wife and young child.

Lee Browning, 33, of Chatham, made a brief bail appearance on Tuesday.

He is charged with dangerous driving causing death and was placed on a condition of his release not to operate a vehicle. He returns to court Dec. 18.
