ONTARIO -
A driver caught going nearly double the speed limit on Highway 401 has lost his licence for a week.

Provincial police pulled over a car near Napanee that was clocked on radar at 191 km/h.

The driver, a 31-year-old man from Tokyo, lost his car and his Tokyo driver's licence for at least a week under Ontario's tough law on speeding and stunt driving. It allows police to seize a vehicle at the roadside immediately.

He'll also face a minimum fine of $2,000 if convicted. He was caught at 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
