Rosthern woman killed in Saskatchewan highway collision

SASKATCHEWAN -
A 60-year-old woman from Rosthern is dead after a collision Thursday night in which two vehicles collided on Highway 11 shortly before 8:30 p.m.

The woman, driving an SUV, was crossing the highway at the south entrance to Davidson when a southbound truck collided with the SUV.

The 60-year-old was pronounced dead Friday morning, while a male passenger in the SUV remains in hospital. Both are from Rosthern.

The driver of the truck, a 52-year-old man from Saskatoon, was not injured.

RCMP traffic analysts are assisting in the investigation.
