Steve Brunet, 50, dies in early-morning Buckingham QC collision

QUEBEC - A 35-year-old man has died after a two-car, head-on collision on Highway 50 near Buckingham, Que., early Tuesday morning.

Quebec provincial police said Steve Brunet of Notre Dame de la Salette died of his injuries after he arrived at a hospital. Two other people suffered severe injuries in the crash, which occurred around 4:30 a.m.

Alcohol or drugs are not believed to have been factors in the crash, police said.

Buckingham about 200 kilometres west of Montreal.
