Peter "Bachine" is a retired father of two with an I.T. background in the automotive industry. Peter lost someone very special in his life in 2008 at the hands of an alcohol and drug-impaired driver.This tragedy has provided the impetus for him to start researching impaired driving and the problems that poor driving habits are causing today on Canadian roads. He also helps manage and edit the Drunk Driving Masses.com website.
Peter shoots from the hip on the issues surrounding impaired driving, but also understands the grief, sadness and frustration experienced by victims of impaired driving. Peter can be reached at editor@thedrunkdrivingmasses.com
Cindy J. Smith created Education for the Driving Masses.com. Its sister site, The Drunk Driving Masses.com, was launched in Spring 2009. Both sites are updated daily.Cindy took up the cause of documenting the fatalities/injuries sustained by Canadians in road/off-road crashes, the trauma, the names of those killed and persons charged after the death of Ontario trucker David Virgoe, who was killed by street racers, inspired her to convince others we can all benefit from better driver's training, improved driving skill and help them understand accidents are rarely accidental. And most importantly, how to keep ourselves save in traffic on and off the road.
