Early morning crash leaves one dead in Makinsons Highway crash

Trinity Conception District RCMP is investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on the Makinsons Highway, Route 71 on December 5th at approximately 2:35 this morning.

Deceased at the scene is an adult male, age 52. He was the only occupant in this single vehicle crash.

The name of the victim is being withheld at this time pending notification of next of kin.

An RCMP investigation is still continuing as 6:30 am. Further details to follow.
