Head-on collision claims life in Havre Boucher NS

NOVA SCOTIA -
One person has died and 3 others have been taken to hospital in a head-on-collision in Havre Boucher.

An EHS spokesperson tells The Hawk 2 ambulances were dispatched to the Highway 104 crash around 12:30, along with RCMP and the Havre Boucher Fire Department.

He says the 3 people taken to St. Martha's in Antigonish appear to have non-life threatening injuries.

The highway will be closed to both lanes for the most of Monday afternoon and police are detouring traffic.

Vehicles heading west should use the old Route Number 4 and those heading east should take the Frankville exit.

Callers have told The Hawk that 5 vehicles in total were involved, but RCMP haven't confirmed that.
