Woman, 60, dead in two-vehicle crash in Richmond Hill

ONTARIO - The intersection of Bayview Avenue and Elgin Mills Road in Richmond Hill will remain closed until at least midnight following a deadly crash Monday afternoon.

Police say a Jeep and a tractor trailer collided at Bayview Avenue and Elgin Mills Road before 4 p.m.

Bayview Avenue is closed between Shirley Drive and Neal Drive and Elgin Mills Road is closed between Megarry Court and Crobsy Avenue.

York Regional Police has called in a special unit that investigates collisions with commercial vehicles.
