Police seek witnesses after woman struck and killed by car in Mississauga

ONTARIO
- Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are appealing for witnesses to a collision, which has claimed the life of a 60 year-old Mississauga woman.

On Wednesday, December 2, 2009, the victim was walking near McLaughlin Road and Oaklea Boulevard. At approximately 6:30 pm, the victim attempted to cross McLaughlin Road, when she was struck by a vehicle. Emergency Services attended, and the victim was transported to a local hospital by ambulance. The victim’s condition deteriorated and she was taken to a Toronto Trauma Centre. Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to her injuries a few days later.

The victim’s identity is not being released at this time and no charges have been laid.

Investigators are urging anyone who may have witnessed to the collision to come forward.
