On Tuesday, the Regina Police Service released the name of the 82-year-old Regina man who was killed on Thursday.

Glen Delbert Wood was pronounced dead at the scene after he was struck at about 6:18 p.m. He reportedly had walked into southbound traffic on the 900 block of Albert Street North, just north of the Ring Road overpass.

Meanwhile, police say a 20-year-old male who was struck by a vehicle Sunday evening remains in hospital.

That man was taken to hospital with serious injuries following the 8:25 p.m. collision in the area of Saskatchewan Drive and Rae Street.

Police are looking into whether alcohol was a factor in the accident, although they believe the vehicle's driver wasn't under the influence at the time.

Both incidents remain under investigation.
