ONTARIO - A woman involved in a serious motor vehicle collision on Highway 540 on Manitoulin Island Sunday morning involving a car and snowplow has died.
Lorna Fogg, 61, of Evansville, died in hospital in Greater Sudbury Monday of her injuries.
She was a passenger in a Pontiac Sunfire being driven by a 51-year-old woman about 10:45 a.m. Sunday on Highway 540 in Billings Township, just east of M'Chigeeng First Nation.
Manitoulin Island Ontario Provincial Police say the Sunfire was heading towards Little Current when it collided head-on with a westbound Belanger Construction snow plow/dump truck which was plowing and sanding.
