Woman crushed to death by a snowplow in Quebec City

QUEBEC - A woman in her sixties was crushed to death by a snowplow yesterday evening in a parking lot in Quebec, during snow removal operations.

Around midnight, the woman trying to cross a parking area on Canardière Street was crushed by a vehicle that was plowing snow.

The woman, who witnesses at the scene said was intoxicated, had no chance. She died instantly.

The driver of the snowplow would have been unable to see the victim, per witnesses.
