Woman hurt when struck by school bus in North Stormont

ONTARIO -
A woman was airlifted to hospital this morning after she was hit by a school bus carrying students in North Stormont Township, Tuesday morning.

Ontario Provincial Police said none of the students were injured.

The woman was hit on Concession 3-4 between Macmillan Road and Finch Roxborough Boundary Road in North Stormont Township. The road will be closed as police investigate. The pedestrian collision scene is about 50 kilometres southeast of Ottawa.

The woman was brought to Ottawa Hospital's Civic campus. She remains in serious condition.
